Description
A view across the altiplano and Andes foothills after an overnight winter snowfall to Mt Illimani (6439m / 21,125ft), Bolivia's second highest peak and the southernmost of the Cordillera Real range. Fresh snow (the result of cold fronts) transforms the altiplano grasslands into a harsh yet strangely beautiful landscape, which lends itself to black and white photography.
