Description
A spectacular sunset over Tunupa volcano (5320m / 17,460ft) is reflected in water on the surface of the Salar de Uyuni in south west Bolivia. The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat, covering 10,582 square km / 4,086 square miles. It sometimes floods (to a depth of only a few cm, the region is generally very arid) during the rainy season, turning it into a huge mirror reflecting the skies, often with stunning results.
