Description
The black-capped squirrel monkey (Saimiri boliviensis) is a small squirrel monkey found in the Amazon rainforests of Peru, Bolivia and western Brazil. Some scientists recognise 2 separate subspecies. This image was taken in Bolivia's Madidi National Park, one of the world's most biodiverse protected areas.

Great capture! My other half has been to Brazil and said these monkeys can be very mischievous!! He is a cutie though but beware!!

The ones I've seen in Bolivia have always been curious but a bit shy rather than mischievous. Maybe when they live nearer humans they lose the shyness.
