Description
Buttercups (Ranunculus family) in a wildflower meadow in the Weald of Kent, southeast England in early summer. Buttercups and one of the most common spring / summer flowers in the UK and often found in grassy meadows and fields. There are quite a number of species, this is probably the creeping buttercup (Ranunculus repens), one of the most common. This shot was taken on the Wealdway long distance footpath between Southborough and Bidborough.
