Description
The towers of Cusco's cathedral and Compania de Jesus / Society of Jesus church (in the background), with the colonial tiled rooftops typical of the historic city in the foreground. Both churches are on the central Plaza de Armas square. The cathedral was built between 1560 and 1664 on the site of the palace of Viracocha Inca Most of the building is in the Gothic Renaissance style.
