Description
The view over La Paz from the Killi Killi viewpoint, one of several that offer superb views over Bolivia's administrative capital. On the left is the Hernando Siles stadium in the central Miraflores district, which is home to 3 of La Paz's football / soccer clubs. The Bolivian national team also play their home games here, the stadium's altitude is 3,637m / 11,932ft which makes it the highest stadium in the world that it regularly used for international matches.
The high rise buildings on the far right are in Sopocachi district, to their left you can also just see part of the Bridge of the Americas / Puente de las Americas across the valley. The valley in the centre distance leads to Mallasa and the Rio Abajo area, the La Paz River that flows through it eventually cuts through the Andes and flows north into the Amazon basin....
