Description
Street markets are always fun to wander through and a great source of colourful photographic material, such as this stall selling herbs and spices. The chilis are dried and powdered Capsicum baccatum, the species known as ajis in Spanish and often used in especially Peruvian and Bolivian cuisine (aji amarillo - yellow chili is particularly popular). This shot was taken in La Paz, Bolivia.
