Description
A long exposure shot of star trails above Mt Huayna Potosi (6088m / 19,975ft), lit by the waning last quarter moon that has recently risen. The peak is one of the most popular climbs in Bolivia and by mountaineering standards a relatively non technical 6000m peak. The light trail across the glacier is the lights of climbers making their way towards the summit. Some light cloud is drifting around the peak, which is part of the Cordillera Real range.

Wonderful composition, contrast and framing James! I love the close up of the sleet or snow? The mountain climbers lighting the path before them is a real bonus! l/f
James Brunker replied:
Those are actually star trails Mary Ann, meant to mention it in the description, now corrected!
