Description
A large and perfectly formed dust devil about to cross the road in the Bolivian altiplano. This was taken as I was driving to Uyuni in the southwest of the country; the area is very flat and open and dust storms and short lived devils are quite common. On this particular day there was no wind at all which is pretty unusual; as a result there were more devils than normal and they hung around for quite a while before dissipating. This one was particularly large, superbly formed and moving slowly across the road not far ahead, by far the closest and best view I've ever had of one!

Thank you Mike, I've seen a lot of dust devils here over the years but this one was a bit special!
