Description
A white sailing boat / yacht moored in the River Fowey, with the quaint historic port town of Fowey in the background. Fowey, on the south Cornwall coast in southwest England, has long been an important port, the Fowey River estuary forms a superb natural harbour. On the right is St Finbarr church and tower, which dates from the early 14th century; there are records of a church being established here as early as the 7th century, Much of the surrounding region has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is noted for its spectacular coastal scenery.
