Description
A black and white photograph of a dirt road leading towards dramatic thunderclouds rising above hills and the altiplano grasslands in western Bolivia. Violent storms are common in the rainy season and the hail that often comes with them can cause serious damage to crops, a problem in rural areas where the inhabitants are usually peasants who are subsistance famers who rely on their crops to survive.
