Description
Devotees carry the Holy Sepulchre / Santo Sepulcro (a life sized statue of the crucified body of Jesus in a glass coffin) through the streets of Cusco, Peru during the traditional Good Friday parades. The red flowers on the top of the coffin are called Nucchu and flower in the Cusco region around Easter; they are believed to represent the blood of Christ thrown by devotees during the parades.
