Description
The Inca tern (Larosterna inca) is a beautiful tern that breeds on the coasts of Peru and Chile; it can also be seen on the coasts of Ecuador and occasionally Colombia. The peeling paint on a rusting girder, part of an old pier, makes for a colourful textured background.

Gorgeous red features on this bird blend nicely with the gritty girder. And yet, there is a contrast between the beautiful life form and the rusted surface of the setting. Superb! Your beautiful image has been featured by Wild Birds Of The World. L/F
