Description
A view in black and white looking roughly west from near the marker to the King William Artillery of the Army of Northern Virigina on Oak Hill. This battery was commanded by Captain William Pleasants Page Carter and mainly saw action on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg. The marker is close to the Eternal Light Peace Memorial, the road on the left is part of North Confederate Avneue.
