Description
Textures and colours of branches of larch trees in winter on the edge of a Forestry Commission plantation on a hillside in South Wales, UK. Larches are native to the cooler temperate parts of the northern hemisphere and, although they are conifers, deciduous trees that lose their needles in the autumn and winter months.
