Description
A panoramic view of Mt Huayna Potosi (6088m / 19,975ft) and clouds from the subtropical Yungas regions drifting up the Zongo Valley. The peak in the right distance is Mt Tiquimani / Tikimani (5519m / 18,110ft). Huayna Potosi is one of the most popular climbs in Bolivia and by mountaineering standards a relatively non technical 6000m peak. It is part of the Cordillera Real range which separates the highland altiplano regions of western Bolivia from the tropical lowlands to the east. The horizontal line along the mountain's side is an aqueduct that leads to a small reservoir close to the Zongo Pass out of shot to the left.
