Description
Traditional Kuna dugout sailing canoes made from the trunks of palm trees on the beach of one of the islands in the San Blas group. The San Blas Islands are made up of around 400 islands in the Caribbean off the coast of Panama. The islands belong to the Kuna Indians (who call them Kuna Yala / Guna Yala) and live on some of them. Inhabited islands are usually densely populated with very little spare space. The rest are uninhabited and typical picture postcard Caribbean islands such as this one - turquoise sea, white sand beaches and palm trees.
