Description
A 1916 Baldwin-built 2-8-0 steam locomotive #734 waits at Cumberland station, hub of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad (WMSR). The WMSR is a heritage railroad that runs between Cumberland and Frostburg on tracks that were originally part of the Western Maryland Railway. Number 734 was built for use on the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad and came to the line from the Illinois Railway Museum in 1991.
