Description
Exposed roots of a thorn bush spread across the surface of colourful rock strata and soil formations in Torotoro National Park in central Bolivia. Torotoro (often written Toro Toro) is one of Bolivia's lesser known natural wonders and located in the far north of Potosi Department, though it is most easily accessed from Cochabamba. It's main attractions are the high concentration of paleontological remains (including dinosaur footprints), Bolivia's largest cave system and spectacular limestone canyons.
