Description
A street cleaner at work on the Malecon, the famous sea front promenade in Havana, Cuba. The promenade stretches for 8 km / 5 miles along the coast and is a great walk with views of the city and also a popular meeting point. Huge waves often break spectacularly over the sea wall, especially when there are strong northerly winds and weather fronts moving through the northern part of the Caribbean. I'm not sure if they are a help or a hindrance for street cleaners though, the extra washing they provide often comes with bits of seaweed and other debris included.....!
