Description
The approx. 26 species of Copiapoa cactus are only found in coastal regions of Chile's Atacama Desert, many have a very limited range and are endangered. Rain very rarely falls in the area (on average every few years) so their main source of water comes from winter sea fogs that blanket the coast. This species is Copiapoa dealbata, found in the Llanos del Challe National Park and nearby areas in the Region III de Atacama.

Wonderful repetition here. Your use of black and white really emphasizes the texture here. Well done.
