Description
Uyuni in SW Bolivia used to be a major railroad centre in its mining heyday. Those days have long since passed, just outside the village in the barren altiplano desert dozens of steam engines, coaches and spare parts lie rusting in and around the old railway yards as a reminder of days gone by.
