Artist's Description
Uyuni in SW Bolivia used to be a major railroad centre in its mining heyday. Those days have long since passed, just outside the village in the barren altiplano desert dozens of steam engines, coaches and spare parts lie rusting in and around the old railway yards as a reminder of days gone by.

This is a great shot, James. I like the angle of the wheels and I think the wisps of cloud add a lot to it. I get a feel of the scale with that thin line of hills in the far distance.
