Description
Wealden Hall farmhouses such as this were commonly built in SE England, especially in the Weald of Kent and Sussex, from the 13th to 16th centuries. This one in Southborough near Tunbridge Wells is now The Weavers pub / restaurant and a Grade II listed building. Much of it dates from the 16th Century though it has been restored and has some more recent additions.
