Description
Thistles growing on the shore of Hunting Creek Lake near Thurmont (Frederick County) in the Cunningham Falls State Park, one of several protected areas in the Catoctin Mountains. The Park is popular for a variety of outdoor activities and has several hiking trails, including to its namesake Cunningham Falls, the largest cascading waterfall in Maryland.
