Description
Clouds reflected in water on the surface of the Salar de Uyuni in south west Bolivia during the pre-dawn twilight in the rainy season. The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat, covering 10,582 square km / 4,086 square miles. It sometimes floods (to a depth of only a few cm, the region is generally very arid) during the rainy season, turning it into a huge mirror reflecting the skies. Salt formations on the shore of the salar can be seen in the foreground.
