Description
Rainy season in the Andes can still be a interesting time for photography. The mountain views may be cloud covered but storms can often create dramatic lighting effects, such as here on the steep building-covered hillsides that make up the suburbs of La Paz, the administrative capital of Bolivia. The cross on the hill is the Jach'a Kollo ("Big Hill" in the Aymara language) viewpoint (one of many in the upper parts of the city) in the Tacagua district.
