Description
A black and white image of one of several waterfalls in the Hampaturi Valley on a stormy day in the rainy season. Hampaturi is a beautiful valley in the Cordillera Real range whose rugged, wilderness landscapes are surprisingly close to the city of La Paz. There are numerous streams, wetlands and waterfalls in the region, as well as several reservoirs which are an important source of water for La Paz.

Marvellous image, James. You've captured the stormy atmosphere and the beautiful turbulence of the falls. Perfect tonality, too. F
James Brunker replied:
Thank you very much Bette! I prefer these waterfalls in bad / cloudy weather, the bright sun at high altitude makes it harder to get the details and textures. Plus they have a lot less water in the dry season and reduce to only a trickle, not so impressive!
