A wooden bench painted in the colors of il Tricolore, the flag of Italy, next to a bocce court in the Little Italy neighborhood in Baltimore. Bocce is a ball sport belonging to the boules family that is very popular in Italy and other Adriatic countries. Italian immigrants brought the game to the USA, Baltimore's Little Italy neighborhood is still mostly populated by the descendants of Italian-American immigrants and is known for its strong Italian-American heritage.
