Cunningham Falls (also known locally as McAfee Falls after a family of early settlers) is 78ft / 24 m high and the largest cascading waterfall in Maryland. It is located near Thurmont (Frederick County) in the Cunningham Falls State Park, one of several protected areas in the Catoctin Mountains.
