A view across the Inner Lake (called Winaymarka, Huinaymarca or Lago Menor locally) on a stormy afternoon towards the Cordillera Real mountain range in Bolivia The main peak in the image is Mt Chachacomani (6000m / 19,680ft), a recent storm has left a fresh covering of snow on the surrounding hills. Lake Titicaca is said to be the worlds highest navigable lake and is also the 14th largest by volume. It is located 3810m / 12,500ft above sea level and is shared by Peru and Bolivia.
