Description
An early morning view of Yellow Line / Linea Amarilla cable car gondolas above La Paz in black and white. The Yellow Line opened in 2014 and was the second of several cable car lines to be built connecting the cities of La Paz and El Alto in Bolivia. The network currently consists of 10 lines and is 30.6km / 19 miles long, the largest urban Cable-Propelled Transit (CPT) system in the world. It is also the highest - central La Paz is at an altitude of around 3650m / 11,970ft, El Alto 4,050m / 13,280ft.
