A group of panpipes musicians taken in the golden, late afternoon light at a festival in Curahuara de Carangas, Oruro Department, Bolivia. Panpipes (often called zamponas and sicus) are arguably the best known musical instrument from the Andes. There are many different types, sizes and configurations according to the region.
