Description
A view across the altiplano and Andes foothills after an overnight winter snowfall to Mt Huayna Potosi (6088m / 19,975ft). It is part of the Cordillera Real range and is one of the most popular peaks in Bolivia for climbers. Fresh snow (the result of cold fronts) transforms the altiplano grasslands into a harsh yet strangely beautiful frozen landscape, which lends itself to black and white photography.
