Description
A view across the altiplano and Andes foothills after an overnight winter snowfall to Mt Huayna Potosi (6088m / 19,975ft). The peak is part of the Cordillera Real range and is one of the most popular climbs in Bolivia. Fresh snow (the result of cold fronts) transforms the altiplano grasslands into a harsh yet strangely beautiful frozen landscape, which lends itself to black and white photography.
