Description
A twilight view of the village square and church in Cariquima in the Chilean altiplano close in the Tarapaca Region to the border with Bolivia. These quaint little rustic churches are typical of villages in the region and date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The cactus is one of the Echinopsis family which grow widely across the high altiplano of the central Andes.
