Description
A panoramic view (3:1 ratio) in black and white over the lower part of La Paz from the Killi Killi viewpoint, one of several that offer superb views over Bolivia's administrative capital and seat of government. In the background is Mt Illimani, at 6439m / 21,125ft Bolivia's second highest mountain and symbol of the city. In the centre is the Hernando Siles stadium in the Miraflores district, which is home to 3 of La Paz's football / soccer clubs. The Bolivian national team also play their home games here, the stadium's altitude is 3,637m / 11,932ft which makes it the highest stadium in the world that is regularly used for international matches. The high rise buildings on the right are in Sopocachi, a central mainly residential district. The main valley mid-right is Rio Abajo, which leads to Mallasa and beyond.
