Description
A sailing boat with a maroon colored sail crosses the Inner Lake (called Winaymarka, Huinaymarca or Lago Menor locally), a part of Lake Titicaca, on a stormy winter afternoon. The mountain is Mt Ancohuma (6427m / 21,085ft) at the northern end of the Cordillera Real range and Bolivia's 3rd highest peak. Its name in the native Aymara language is Janq'u Uma or "white water" (janq'u white, uma water, other spellings include Janq'uma, Jankho Uma, and Jankhouma).
