Description
Tourists enjoy a ride around Baltimore's Inner Harbor in a dragon pedal boat. In the background is the USS Torsk (SS-423), a Tench Class submarine built in 1944 that saw action in the Pacific during World War II and was also deployed in the Caribbean during the Cuban Missile Crisis. On 14 August 1945 she torpedoed a Japanese freighter, the last enemy ship sunk by the U.S. Navy in World War II. She is now one of several historic ships docked in the Inner Harbour that are part of the Baltimore Maritime Museum.
