Description
A view of the upper part of the clock tower of Cardiff Castle on a sunny winter's day. Cardiff has had a castle since at least Norman times and the 11th century motte and bailey keep still stands inside the more recent walls and buildings. Construction of the clock tower started in 1868, part of major rebuilding and enlargements in the Gothic Revival style commissioned by the 3rd Marquess of Bute.
