Description
View across the River Thames to the South Bank with the London Eye against a superb pink sunset and an old fashioned street lamp in the foreground. Officially opened to the public on 9th March 2000, the Eye (also known as the Millennium Wheel) is now the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK. The building behind the Eye is the Shell Centre (one of 2 central offices of the Shell oil company), to the right is the County Hall building.
