Description
The boiler of a rusting steam train in the Uyuni train graveyard in SW Bolivia. Uyuni was founded in 1890 as a railway junction and used to be a major railroad centre in its heyday. The steam trains started to be replaced by diesels in 1958, just outside the village dozens of engines, coaches and wagons lie rusting in the old railway yards as a reminder of days gone by.
