Description
Three old wooden posts protrude from the calm surface of Lake Titicaca on a calm morning, casting reflections onto the calm, smooth water surface. Lake Titicaca is shared by Peru and Bolivia and is said to be the highest navigable lake in the world; it is also the 14th largest by volume. It covers an area of 8,372 sq km / 3,232 sq mi, measures approx 190 x 80km / 118 x 50 miles and lies at an altitude of 3810m / 12,500ft above sea level. The blue water and golden light made for a lovely minimalist image, serene and soothing.
