Description
Cornwall in southwest England was an important tin mining region in the 19th century, at the time one of Europe's largest mining industries. Nowadays the remains of mine workings dot the countryside; these ruins on Bodmin Moor (an upland moorland area in the west of the county) were once part of the Wheal Jenkin Mine near the small village of Minions.
