Description
A typical view along a section of the High Weald Walk footpath between Southborough and Speldhurst in Kent, southeast England in spring. The white flowers on the left are on a blackthorn or sloe bush / tree (Prunus spinosa), a common bush found across Europe. It is one of the first flowers to appear in spring in the UK, its white blossoms appear well before the leaves of most bushes and trees and often while the weather is still cold and wintry.
