Description
CSX Transportation diesels head a coal train in Brunswick, Maryland. The line was part of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (often written B&O Railroad) who built a major rail yard here between 1891 to 1912, causing Brunswick to grow rapidly and become one of the main towns en route. Yard operations were scaled back in the 1950s but the town still sees regular freight traffic and is also on a commuter rail route to Washington D.C.
